Dr. Ebeloku was born on 11th July 1967 in Ila Orangun, Osun State, he started his elementary school at St. Michael Primary School, Ila Orangun and after the demise of his grandma, he moved to Ile-Ife to complete his elementary school in 1981. He then proceeded to Ansar-Ur-Deen Grammar School, Ile-Ife from 1981 to 1986 for his high school. This transmission from a Missionary school to Islamic College sharpened his tolerance and stirred him clear of religious segregation and sentiments.
Dr. Ebeloku after his secondary school proceeded to a better by far University, the University of Ilorin where he bagged a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration between 1989 to 1994 and a Master of Business Administration at the same University in 2002. As an erudite scholar and staunch administrator who has a refined thirst for knowledge, he enrolled for another Master of Science and bagged M.Sc. in Management Science from the University of Ilorin in 2006; he equally bagged Post Graduate Diploma in Education from National Teachers Institute, Kaduna in 2007.
Dr. Ademola Iyanda Ebeloku’s academic sojourn did not stop from the above-mentioned academic qualifications, he bagged his Ph.D. in Business Administration from the same prestigious, refined, modest, reputable, indefatigable, better by far University of Ilorin in 2018 where his scholarly Ph.D. thesis was adjudged the best to be converted to textbook for use in all tertiary institutions in Nigeria by TETfund.
Dr. Ebeloku joined the service of the Federal Polytechnic Offa as an Assistant Lecturer in 1997 and rose through the ranks to become a Chief Lecturer. He has served the Polytechnic diligently in different capacities and has held myriad positions as chairman or member of different management committees. He was one-time Dean, School of Business and Management Studies, a position he held from December 2018 to March 2022, as a man of integrity, incorruptible with an unsullied reputation, he served as President, of Staff Cooperative Thrift and Credit Society Limited between May 2016 to January 2021, for the period of five years as Cooperative President, he never for once have any case of corruption or misappropriation of funds. He served as Deputy Dean, Examination and Time Table Committee, Chairman, Examination Committee, Entrepreneurship Development Centre, Chairman Research and Innovation Committee, Chairman ASUP Electoral Committee, Chairman Committee on Internet Facility, Member Central Examination Committee, Member, Academic Publication Committee, two times Head of Department, School of Business and Management Studies, NBTE resource person, external moderator for National Diploma in Business Administration Department, Federal Polytechnic Ede, external moderator for Higher National Diploma in Business Administration Department, Kwara State Polytechnic Ilorin, external moderator for Higher National Diploma in Business Administration Department, Osun State Polytechnic Iree, external moderator for National Diploma in Business Administration Department, Villanova Polytechnic, Imesi-Ile among many others.
Dr. Ebeloku’s exemplary life and worthwhile impacts in academia, service to humanity, and community development have remarkably put his name in the Hall of Fame with many honors and distinctions. He bagged the most active Dean award, best Head of Department award, excellent award towards academic development, received an appreciation letter for the successful completion of his tenure as Dean, received a commendation letter for selfless service as coordinator of Unit 18 Special Marshals by Federal Road Safety Corps, Offa Unit Command, received a meritorious certificate for hardworking and committed to the development of Ila Orangun National Students’ Union and he was awarded as the most dedicated, hardworking and loyal academic staff 1997-1998 Academic session in the Federal Polytechnic Offa.
As a seasoned administrator, brilliant, bright, pragmatic and diplomatic scholar, he has many academic journal publications, textbooks, projects/dissertations and conference/seminar papers to his credit.
Dr. Ebeloku belongs to many professional bodies. He is a Member, Nigerian Institute of Management, Member, Chattered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria, a Fellow, Strategic Institute for Natural Resources and Human Development, a Fellow, Chattered Institute of Administration and a Fellow, of the International Institute of Chattered Educational Practitioners.
Until his appointment as the second substantive Rector of The Federal Polytechnic Ile-Oluji, he was on sabbatical leave to Lens Polytechnic, Offa where he served as the Acting Rector. His one-year developmental strides in an acting capacity at Lens Polytechnic earned him the accolade, father of great transformation.
He is happily married and blessed with children.
